The last day of the Rodeo BBQ Cookoff will be "chili!"
Morning lows on Saturday were down to the upper 40s, more than 10 degrees cooler than Friday morning.
A few showers are developing along the coast Saturday morning, because of a shortwave trough in south Texas.
The area of low pressure will track east, likely in the Gulf.
Showers will only move through our coastal counties and should not affect our inland areas.
Temperatures at the start of the Rodeo Parade in Downtown Houston at 10 a.m. will be in the low 50s, so parade-goers should bring a jacket to keep warm. Afternoon highs will top out in the low 60s with mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies with light, northerly winds. Sunday, southeasterly winds return from the Gulf. Temperatures warm up to the mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies.
